It premieres at the Teatro dos 4 the show República Lee – A musical to the sound of Rita, who transports the public to the late 1960s through a creative narrative full of references to pop culture and counterculture of the time.

The plot follows five young people living in a republic in the city of São Paulo between 1968 and 1969. United in their desire to create art, they are dedicated to producing a short film of science fiction, using as a backdrop the apartment itself and betting on home effects and low-cost solutions. The story of the film that they're trying to shoot dialogues with classic sci-fi from the 1950s, such as The Day Earth Stopped, The Invasion of Flying Discs and The Attack of the 15-meter Woman.
The original dramaturgy of the musical gains strength with unforgettable songs by Rita Lee, such as “Now You’re Only Missing”, “Neither Luxury nor Trash” and “Mutant”. The bold and visionary poetics of the artist sew the journey of these characters, who, packed with dreams, rebellion and creativity, reflect the spirit of a generation that broke patterns and shaped new ways of existing.
