One of the most striking records of Raul Seixas' career is 50 years old in 2026 and wins a special night of celebration at the Flying Circus. On Saturday, August 29, the Bau do Raul project brings together musicians from different generations to revisit the songs of “There are 10 thousand Years Behind” and other classics of the Bahian artist’s work.
Released in 1976, the album became one of the references of Raul Seixas' career and brings together songs that remain among the best known in his repertoire. On the canvas stage, the public will be able to hear new interpretations of tracks such as “I’ll Also Complain”, “My Friend Pedro” and “I Was Born 10 Thousand Years Back”, as well as other songs by the singer.
Among the guests is Rick Ferreira, guitarist who accompanied Raul Seixas during part of his career and participated in the recording of the album celebrated in this edition of Raul's chest. Also part of the Baia and BNegão programming, artists who have already participated in other editions of the project, as well as André Pando and Thathi, representatives of a new generation of musicians influenced by Raulzito's work.
