Picnic at the Petrobras Futuros Theatre – Art and Technology

The children's show Picnic, of the Theater Company Independently, it takes place at the Petrobras Futuros Theatre – Art and Technology between July 11 and 26. The presentations take place on Saturdays and Sundays, at 11:30 am, bringing to the public a story that combines adventure, fantasy and themes such as environmental preservation, healthy eating, courage and female protagonism.

Winner of two CBTIJ Awards, the montage follows the trajectory of a determined young woman who travels through different places carrying her quitute until she finds a city dominated by a tyrant, owner of a cannon factory. With intelligence and creativity, the character faces the injustices imposed by the ruler and helps transform the reality of the population.

The director is Flavio Souza, doctor in theater and recognized for the work of adapting literary works to the stages. On the scene, actors Carolina Pismel and Paulo Verlings, who for two decades have been part of the Teatro Company Regardless, they make their first foray into the children's theater. The show received six nominations for the CBTIJ Award and won the trophies for Best Actress and Best Actor.
