17 years ago, every Monday is Samba Wheel Day on Pedra do Sal. Located at the foot of the Morro da Conceição, the region gained this name for being the place of discharge of the product, as well as becoming a meeting point for the Sambists who worked as dockers.

Today, all around Praça Mauá is known as Small Africa, for the number of African descendants living there. And it is also in this very space where samba and crying lived in harmony. Don't lose!
