The singer Patricia Marx rises to the stage of the Rival Petrobras Theatre, on Thursday (27), to present the show “Today’s Day – Live”, at 19:30. The presentation celebrates the trajectory of the artist that consolidated itself as one of the main names of Brazilian pop in the 1990s and that, over the decades, expanded its musical identity between R&B, MPB and Neo Soul.
The repertoire revisits successes that marked generations, such as “When It Rains”, “D’Água Mirrors”, “Stay With You”, “Dream of Love” and “Take Care, My Good”. The evening also brings highlights of the album “In Today’s Day, Be Quiet”, in which the singer revers the work of Ivan Lins, with rereadings for classics such as “Cartomante”, “Vieste” and “Open Alas” – compositions originally eternalized between Brazilian music and the songbook of Ivan Lins himself.
