The Flying Orchestra goes to its 16th parade in the street carnaval of Rio, on fat Tuesday. But before that, he performs open rehearsals every Sunday of February, on the stage of the Progress Foundry, at Lapa.

The next rehearsals take place on 16 and 23 February, with free entry until 5 pm. Tickets, even free tickets, must be withdrawn at the site.
One of the most beautiful blocks in the city, the Flying Orchestra brings together a heavy metal suit, plus wooden legs and a colorful one that takes care of the Aterro do Flamengo every Tuesday of carnaval. This year the block has as its theme “Ideas to postpone the end of the world – The Carnaval as a creative and innovative tool to reimagin a possible future”, inspired by the work of the indigenous intellectual Ailton Krenak.
