The Traditional Door Art Circuit Opens returns to Santa Teresa on 19th, 20th, 26th and 27th September, bringing together artists, workshops, collectives, cultural centers and initiatives of different artistic languages. The program will be distributed across various areas of the neighborhood, with activities in cultural spaces, houses, streets and workshops.
In its 34th edition, the event already brings together about 120 artists in collective exhibitions and 35 workshops. The program is still under construction and you can receive new participants, exhibitions and activities until the circuit.
Among the confirmed spaces are Centro Cultural Parque Glória Maria, Centro Cultural Laurinda Santos Lobo, Museu Casa de Benjamin Constant, Castelo das Artes (CEAT), Centro Cultural Chácara do Céu and Hotel Santa Teresa.
The proposal of the Open Door Art is to bring the public closer to the artistic production developed in the neighborhood and allow contact with different creative processes. By occupying cultural and independent spaces of Santa Teresa, the circuit also stimulates the circulation of artists and strengthens the meeting between residents, visitors and the local cultural scene.
