On Friday (04/09), from 7:30 p.m., the Rival Petrobras Theatre, in Cinelandia, receives the show “Neguinho da Beija-Flor Canta His History”. After 50 years as an official interpreter of the Consecrated Nilópolis Association and the farewell of Sapucaí at the Carnaval of 2025, the Sambista presents a show dedicated to his career in solo.
The repertoire brings together successes that have passed through different generations, such as “Angela”, “Gamação Danada”, “Malandro é Malandro, Mané é Mané”, “O Champ”, “Deusa da Passarela” and “Better than You”. The show also revisits the origins of the artist with songs such as “Social Problem” and “Menino de Pé no Chão”, which refer to Neguinho’s childhood in Nova Iguaçu and his trajectory in Baixada Fluminense.
