The City of Arts, at Barra da Tijuca, receives on October 18, at 21h, the show 60 years of MPB, which marks the six decades of MPB4 trajectory, one of the most important groups of Brazilian popular music. Formed by Miltinho, Achilles, Dalmo Medeiros and Paulo Malaguti Pauleira, the quartet promises a night of celebration, gathering classics from the repertoire and recent successes.
Maintaining the tradition of inviting artists to share the stage, the group will have the special participation of Casuarina, a Rio group that celebrates 25 years of career and is a reference in the renewal of samba.
In the repertoire, songs from the commemorative album released in 2024, as Candles raised (Ivan Lins and Vitor Martins), Peace and love (Kleiton and Kledir Ramil), Angelica (Miltinho and Chico Buarque) and The Singer (Dori Caymmi and Nelson Motta), plus classics like Friend is for these things and Live wheel.
