One of the most beloved blocks of the streets of Rio, which annually closes the Rio carnaval, Monobloco performs open rehearsals to the public, in the month of February, at Funding Progresso, at Lapa. The second meeting takes place on Friday, the 28th, beginning of the show on time at 10:30 p.m.

Under the command of Pedro Luis and with a battery composed of 140 batuqueiros, the "Monobloco" is known for incorporating several rhythms and musical styles at the pace of samba. Its eclectic repertoire includes the traditional marches of João Roberto Kelly, the samba of Cartola and Clara Nunes, passing through the xote of Alceu Valença, Luiz Gonzaga's forró, Ludmilla's funk, Anitta's pop, even songs of Paralamas do Sucesso, Raul Seixas and Tim Maia.
