A just tribute to one of the biggest stars of Brazilian music and great samba bulwark!
Created by Jô Santana and directed by Miguel Falabella, "Martinho, Coração de Rei - O Musical" explores the origins of the renowned Sambista Martinho da Vila, highlighting the strong presence of the Folia de Reis and other Afro-Brazilian cultural traditions in its music. The production highlights his musical and cultural journey, with a talented cast and special appearances of great names of samba, including Martin's grandchildren: actress, singer and dancer Dandara Ventapane and musician Guido Ventapane.
