Acclaimed by the specialized press, the album “Agbo act”, by singer and composer Marquinhos de Oswaldo Cruz, will have its release show at the Rival Theatre. The launch show is named after the new work and has artistic direction by Leandro Vieira, musical direction and arrangements by Marlon Sette. Inspired by the journey that Marquinhos made to the interior of Nigeria in 2024, the album regains all ancestry of "myscigenation" among the various African ethnic groups in the diaspora. With his feet and soul laid on the foundation of traditional samba, which Marquinhos brings from his territory, the neighborhood of Oswaldo Cruz, the show is basically authorial, diving in all these influences.
