Mariene de Castro returns to the Flying Circus to present the show “Dona da Casa”, on Friday, 6 February, on a night that celebrates the strength of female ancestry and coincides with the week of Yemeni Day. The singer returns to the canvas stage after a striking release show and once again gathers public and critical around a work that has been widely praised. The program also includes Laís Conti's DJ set, which opens the night from 8:00.
Launched last year, on the Day of Our Lady of Conception and Oxum Day, the show proposes a celebration of the matriarchy and women who support traditions, stories and affections. In the repertoire and narrative of the show, Mariene honors sambadeiras and riverside women, central figures of samba wheels of Recôncavo Baiano, emphasizing the resistance, work and joy that go through generations.
