After a career marked by sold-out sessions and extensive press repercussion, the Lady Storm show returns to Rio to celebrate its success and close the national tour. The montage is on display from 3 to 11 January at Teatro Casa Grande, in a very short season that also marks the beginning of the celebrations for the 60 years of one of the most emblematic cultural spaces in the city.
Based on the diaries of Pernambucana lawyer Mércia Albuquerque (1934–2003), Lady Storm revisits the trajectory of a woman who faced the repression of the military dictatorship moved by a radical sense of justice and defense of life, inviting the public to reflect on collective memory, state violence and the ongoing struggle for justice in Brazil.
