With the direction and dramaturgy of Rafaela Azevedo and Pedro Brício, and musical direction signed by singer-songwriter Letrux, the show "King Kong Fran" celebrates two years of performances.
The play uses the character “Fran” — a success of the actress on Instagram — to promote an irreverent reflection on issues such as machismo, harassment, abuse, consent and gender violence. In a mix of cabaret, circus and "woman-gorilla" show, the character amuses the public by deconstructing the stereotypes of the female.
With much humor and irony, the play subverts macho logic and provokes the audience, causing men to "prove their own poison", offering a new look at gender issues.
