The samba will occupy the stage of the Rival Petrobras Theatre, on November 6, on a night of celebration by force of Brazilian music. Juninho Thybau presents the show “Juninho sings Candeia – A tribute to the soul of samba”, a show that also marks the anniversary of the carioca singer and composer.
The samba will occupy the stage of the Rival Petrobras Theatre, on November 6, on a night of celebration by force of Brazilian music. Juninho Thybau presents the show “Juninho sings Candeia – A tribute to the soul of samba”, a show that also marks the anniversary of the carioca singer and composer.
After moving the audience with the show “I am like this,” Juninho returns to the Rival to revisit Candeia’s work, one of the great masters of the genre, whose poetry and black consciousness transformed samba into an instrument of resistance and identity. The repertoire walks through classics such as “I Need to Find Me”, “Party Test”, “Anyway”, “Painting Without Art” and “Samba da água”.
