Singer and composer Johnny Hooker celebrates a decade of one of the most outstanding albums of his career with the special tour “Macumba 10 Years”, which comes to an end on November 12th, at 20h, at the Riachuelo Rio Theatre.
Released in 2015, the album “I’m Gonna Make a Macumba To Tie You, Damn you!” won Hooker the Brazilian Music Award for Best Singer and consolidated his name as one of the leading artists of contemporary Brazilian music. The show promises a reunion between artist and audience through the tracks that defined a generation — such as “Marginal Love”, “Back” and “Macumba to Tie You” — in a celebration that unites music, performance and emotion.
