After a national tour with 13 performances in six capitals, the singer and songwriter Irma returns to Rio de Janeiro with the show “You and My Guitar”. The show takes place at Blue Note Rio, in Copacabana, on November 14th, with two sessions, at 20h and 22h30.
After a national tour with 13 performances in six capitals, the singer and songwriter Irma returns to Rio de Janeiro with the show “You and My Guitar”. The show takes place at Blue Note Rio, in Copacabana, on November 14th, with two sessions, at 20h and 22h30.
Alone on stage, Irma uses voice, guitar, a stomp box and electronic resources performed live. The format highlights the artist's direct and minimalist style, which builds a close relationship with the public from songs that transit between folk, soul and contemporary pop music.
Born in Douala, Cameroon, and raised in France, Irma reflects on her work on identity, personal experiences and the influence of different cultures. Since the beginning of his career, he has accumulated awards and recognitions, with albums that have achieved platinum certifications.
The repertoire of the show brings together known tracks such as Letter to the Lord, Sunrise and Rolling Stone, besides versions of I still remember (Marisa Monte and Nando Reis) and Sunday (Caetano Veloso)
