From May 7 to 9, Rio receives the 9th edition of the International Symposium on Immunobiologicals (ISI), a prominent scientific event promoted by the Institute of Immunobiological Technology (Bio-Manguinhos/Fiocruz). The symposium will bring together researchers, public health professionals and students from Brazil and abroad to discuss the latest advances in immunobiologicals.
With intense programming from 8 am to 6 pm, the ISI 2025 will address strategic issues such as vaccines, biopharmaceuticals and diagnostic reagents, as well as issues related to technological development, production, processing, management and market in this field.
Recognized for promoting the exchange of experiences and strengthening of national science, the main mission of the symposium is to expand access to cutting-edge knowledge, give visibility to Brazilian scientific production and boost the biotechnology sector. By connecting experts and institutions around challenges and solutions to public health, ISI reinforces Brazil's role as a protagonist in research and innovation in immunobiologicals.
