The Teatro Claro Mais RJ, in Copacabana, receives on September 25, the show Gonzaginha – The Eternal Apprentice 80 years Special Edition, in honor of the legacy of the composer who would complete eight decades in 2025. The musical mixes theater, music and memory to tell Gonzaginha's trajectory, highlighting striking moments of his life, from the challenges faced during the military dictatorship to the songs that portrayed his loves, desires and the voice of the people.
On stage, Rogério Silvestre, an actor with 25 years of career, takes on the role and also adapted the original script of the poet and lyricist Gildes Bezerra. The general direction is Breno Carvalho, while the musical direction is in charge of Cacá Franklin. The cast has six artists who alternate singing and live acting, accompanied by a band, featuring 19 songs that transit through the shote, samba, baião and romantic music of Gonzaginha.
