“Fullgás”, as well as Marina Lima’s music, wants the public to have contact with a generation that has deposited much of its existential energy not only in making art, but also in new country projects and citizenship. A generation that, in this way, went from intensity to awareness of the ephemerality of things, of life ", say the healers.
The exhibition occupies all eight rooms on the first floor of the CCBB RJ, in addition to the roundabout, and will be divided into five conceptual centers whose names are songs from the 1980s: "What country is this" (1987), "Beat Accelerated" (1985), "Electronic Fun" (1980), "Birds in the Throat" (1982), and "The Time Does Not Stop" (1988). In the roundabout of the CCBB there is an installation with balloons of the artist Paraense rooted in Rio de Janeiro Paulo Paes. “The balloon is an ephemeral object, which brings a festive question, of color and movement,” the curators said. Still on the ground floor, a newsstand with magazines, vinyls, books and comics published in the period, with striking facts of the time, brings the public into the atmosphere of the exhibition.
