Lovers of Brazilian music will certainly complete the verses that were eternalized in the voices of the great Luiz Gonzaga. The Petrobras Symphony Orchestra presents on July 31 (Wednesday), at 8 pm, in the City of Arts, the concert "From Classic to Baião". The repertoire ranges from the Bachianas de Hector Villa-Lobos and “Pernambucana”, by César Guerra-Peixe, to immortal songs by King of Baião, Luiz Gonzaga, putting everyone to sing together.
To bring the King of the Baião to the stage, images of the singer's nephew, Joquinha Gonzaga, playing Sanfona and singing were captured. From there, a 3D modeling and artificial intelligence work recreated Luiz Gonzaga's traces and voice, resulting in an unprecedented material that will be presented in a hologram. In addition, the program draws a counterpoint between three great names of Brazilian music: César Guerra-Peixe, Ernani Aguiar and Hector Villa-Lobos.
The repertoire includes “Abertura Quarta”, by Ernani Aguiar, Then the program has the Canto do Sertão and Cantiga das Bachianas brasileira no 4, by Villa-Lobos, and the symphonic Suite no 2, “Pernambucana”. The audience will also be able to watch the special participation of the hologram by Luiz Gonzaga, who will “sing” alongside the orchestra in some of the songs, such as “In a Reboco Room”, “Boydeiro” and “Asa Branca”.
