From 3 to 9 July, the LGBTQIA+ 2025 Rio Film Festival celebrates the 14th edition of the event with free exhibitions of 138 films from more than 30 countries. With programming at CCBB RJ, Instituto Cervantes RJ and Italian Institute of Culture, the festival reaffirms its commitment to art, affection and representativeness LGBTQIA+ in audiovisual.
With free entry, short films and long films will be displayed that address essential topics such as affections, identities, struggles and experiences LGBTQIA+ around the world. The event includes commented sessions with directors, debates, as well as a free cinema workshop promoted by CTAv (Audiovisual Technical Center).
