The Rio carnaval will have a novelty in 2026. The city will win a Fan Fest dedicated to celebrating the holiday even before the official parades in the Marquis of Sapucaí. Copacabana Beach receives a special program that follows until 21 February, date of Saturday of the Champions.
The Rio carnaval will have a novelty in 2026. The city will win a Fan Fest dedicated to celebrating the holiday even before the official parades in the Marquis of Sapucaí. Copacabana Beach receives a special program that follows until 21 February, date of Saturday of the Champions.
With activities along the edge, the space proposes an immersion in the universe of the Carnaval, allowing the public to follow closely some steps that make up the desfile das escolas de samba. Workshops with sambaists, interactive actions and a symbolic carnival procession at sunset are planned.
In addition to the samba activities, the musical programming will feature shows on the main stage, bringing together artists from different genres of Brazilian music. There are already confirmed meetings such as Neguinho da Beija-Flor and Belo, Blackinho da Serrinha and Marcelo D2, in addition to Jorge Aragon and the Gilsons group. New attractions should be announced over the next few weeks.
