Three plastic bags that traverse centuries adrift through the Atlantic Ocean are the protagonists of a story about the environment, society and human behavior. This is the premise of “Exploratory Bite”, a new show by the Armatux Group, which premieres on September 3, in the Petrobras Futuros cultural center – Art and Technology, in the Flamengo. The entrance is free.
The assembly integrates the celebrations for the 35 years of the Armatux Group's trajectory, a company that brings to the stage a narrative built from a metaphor about the environmental, social and gender dismount. The direction and dramaturgy are signed by Amora Tito, Paula Manata, Rogério Araújo and Michele Bernardino in the cast.
In history, three plastic bags emerge from the Atlantic Ocean after remaining adrift for more than 300 years. Instead of disappearing over time, they transform from the experiences accumulated during the long journey and begin to observe human life from an unusual perspective.
