The Rio Center receives the exhibition “A Olho Nu”, the largest retrospective ever carried out on the work of Brazilian artist Vik Muniz. The show, with free entry, gathers more than three decades of production and can be visited by September 7.
The Rio Center receives the exhibition “A Olho Nu”, the largest retrospective ever carried out on the work of Brazilian artist Vik Muniz. The show, with free entry, gathers more than three decades of production and can be visited by September 7.
Installed in CCBB RJ, the exhibition presents a comprehensive overview of Muniz's trajectory, internationally recognized for investigating the relations between image, matter and perception. The public can check from three-dimensional works from the beginning of their career to emblematic photographic series and more recent works.
Curated by Daniel Rangel, the exhibition highlights the diversity of processes and materials used by the artist, which transits between different scales and languages to provoke reflections on how images are constructed and interpreted in contemporary times.
