Everyone Sings Arlindo Cruz in the House of Firmino

The Casarão do Firmino receives, on Sunday (06/09), from 17h, a samba wheel in honor of Arlindo Cruz, in Lapa. The project “Todo Mundo Canta Arlindo Cruz” takes place on the eve of the Brazilian Independence holiday and brings together musicians and guests to celebrate the trajectory of the Sambista.
O Home of Firmino receives, on Sunday (06/09), from 17h, a samba wheel in honor of Arlindo Cruz, in Lapa. The project “Everybody Sings Arlindo Cruz“ It takes place on the eve of Brazil’s Independence holiday and brings together musicians and guests to celebrate the path of the Sambist.
Idealized by Flora Cruz, daughter of the artist and master of evening ceremonies, the meeting revisits some of Arlindo Cruz's main compositions. The program also features Baby Cruz and special appearances, as well as DJ Nicolle Neumann, who is responsible for the sound at intervals.
The tribute goes through different moments of Arlindo Cruz's career, from his passage through the Fundo de Quintal and the partnership with Sombrela to the solo trajectory. The repertoire also highlights sambas-enredo composed by the artist for the Serrano Empire, samba school by which had strong connection.
In addition to musical programming, the event will have collaborative entry and chopp released until 6:30.
