After traveling five Brazilian cities, the show "Enchanted Dream of Cordel, the Musical" lands in Rio de Janeiro. Inspired by the plot "A Delirious Fabulous Confusion", developed by Rosa Magalhães for the Empress Leopoldinense in 2005, the musical promises to enchant spectators of all ages with a fusion of string literature and fairy tales.
The play tells the story of a renowned author and his fabulous creations, set in Northeast Brazil, exalting popular culture and the power of imagination. With the text and direction of Thereza Falcão, the show brings a visual spectacle of great proportions: there are more than 10 sets and 50 costumes, idealized by Rosa Magalhães and the carnivalesco Mauro Leite. The scenic impact is complete with projections signed by visual artist Batman Zavareze.
The montage also stands out for the sharp cast and the new soundtrack. With 10 original songs composed by Paulinho Moska, Chico César and Zeca Baleiro, the piece mixes northeastern rhythms with the magic of classical tales. The choreographies are signed by Renato Vieira, while the musical direction is under the command of Marcelo Alonso Neves.
