The pernambuco singer João Gomes will record his new audiovisual work in the Arcos da Lapa, one of the most emblematic neighborhoods of Rio, on Sunday, October 26. The choice of the place, known for being a hair full of culture and history, reflects the moment of artistic expansion of the singer, who has conquered the country with his charisma and mixture of piseiro, forró and influences of MPB.
The recording, which will be open to the public, will be directed by Bruno Moura and Geraldo Estrela, and will gather great successes of his career, as Dengo, My Piece of Sin and Those things, besides unpublished songs and rereadings of classics that marked their musical formation. For the party to be complete, the special appearances of Zeca Pagodinho and Ivete Sangalo are confirmed.
