Grace Gianoukas presents the show “Dora” on September 4, 6 and 7 Theater of the Four, the shopping mall of Gávea. With text by Thereza Falcon and director of Gilberto Gawronski, the comedy accompanies a witty woman who, by revisiting her memories and family relationships, realizes that life can still reserve new paths.
In the play, Grace plays a character who spent decades caring for his family, taking responsibility and postponing personal desires. When her certainties begin to be questioned, Dora faces choices, interrupted loves, unfulfilled promises and dreams left for later.
The montage combines humor and emotion by addressing topics such as aging, mourning, belonging, guilt, loneliness and desire. The relationship of the character with the family, neighbors, work, technology and the very idea of happiness creates everyday situations that help reflect on the choices made throughout life and the possibility of transforming the destiny itself.
