From the best-seller to the stage, the musical comedy “Speaks Serious, Mom! – They only change addresses” premieres at Roxy bringing an unprecedented proposal of theatrical experience. The show combines theater, music and coexistence in a single program, broadening the traditional concept of going to the theater and transforming each session into an affective encounter focused on the whole family.
Considered the main premiere of the year, the montage occupies one of the most emblematic stages of Rio. The proposal unites emotion, entertainment and interaction in an environment that values family life and artistic enjoyment. On stage, about 30 artists conduct a 1h20-long montage, which mixes copyright and known hits, connecting mothers, children, grandparents and grandchildren in situations marked by identification, affection and humor.
Another highlight of the production is Thalita Rebouças' debut as an actress. For the first time in more than 20 years of her career, the author goes on stage to play Angela Cristina, an intense, loving and exaggerated mother, in a symbolic moment that celebrates her career and brings her work closer to the public.
