With the arrival of the June festivals, the climate is forró in most of the country but, in Rio, samba continues to tone. The singer Teresa Cristina presents her block BREC – Recreational Block Enredo Carioca – in a free show in the external area of Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil (CCBB), in the project Enredos da Cidade.
Designed by Teresa herself, the BREC is a project that rescues large and classic sambas from the Rio carnaval. The proposal is to transform the energy of parades and blocks into an engaging musical presentation, with the repertoire full of sambas that marked the history of the folia.
