The Rio BioParque is already in the mood of folia and prepares a special pre-Carnaval programming aimed at families who want to take advantage of the period in a light, educational and outdoor way. Between 14 and 17 February, the space, located in Quinta da Boa Vista, promotes bailinhos, recreational activities and creative workshops that transform the zoo into a great meeting point for the children during the party.
The program starts on the weekend, February 14th and 15th, from 11am to 3pm, with carnival recreation commanded by Uncle Alex. Activities include Carnaval dance, classic and traditional games, as well as mask workshops and musical instruments produced with recyclable materials. One of the highlights is the foam cannon, which promises to refresh and further encourage the experience of children.
On Monday, the 16th, also from 11am to 3pm, the animation is on behalf of the Fabulous Recreation team. The day will be marked by creative workshops of masks inspired by marine animals, interactive recreation with live music and face painting, expanding the playful character of programming and stimulating the creativity of small people.
The agenda ends on Tuesday, February 17th, from 11am to 14pm, with the Bailinho de Carnaval da Animasom, bringing together children and families in a morning of music and dance, reinforcing the BioParque as a leisure option during the carnival period.
