On August 30 and 31, the gardens of the Carmen Miranda Museum at the Aterro do Flamengo receive a special tribute to the eternal Little Remarkable. The Carmen Miranda Festival: 70 Years of Saudade celebrates the legacy of the artist with a multicultural meeting that unites music, fashion and gastronomy, inviting the public to dive from the singer who conquered the world.
Carmen Miranda was the first naturalized South American to host a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame and left her mark on radio, magazine theater, cinema and television. The programming is free and designed for the whole family, including children's space and attractions that rescue the joy and affective memory around the artist.
