Batuke do Pretinho in Vivo Rio

The samba wheel Batuke do Pretinho, commanded by Pretinho da Serrinha, returns to Rio for another presentation in Vivo Rio. The meeting takes place on Thursday, April 30, with opening of the gates at 7pm and beginning of the show at 9pm. For this show, the special guests will be Roberta Sá and Marcelo D2.

Created in 2021, the project quickly consolidated as one of the most popular events of contemporary samba, gathering crowds where it passes. Since the premiere, in Copacabana Beach, when it has attracted about 120,000 people, Batuke do Pretinho has accumulated successful editions and presentations with sold-out tickets in several Brazilian capitals.

Throughout its trajectory, the wheel has already received prominent names of Brazilian music, such as Caetano Veloso, Marisa Monte, Martinho da Vila, Milton Nascimento, Pericles, Seu Jorge, Maria Rita and Zeca Pagodinho, keeping the tradition of bringing together special guests for each edition.

Natural of Madureira, the cradle of important manifestations of samba carioca, Blackinho da Serrinha built a solid trajectory as a musician, composer and producer. Winner of multiple awards, including Latin Grammys, the artist follows as one of the main names of the genre today.
