The pastor of the Old Guard of Portela, Tia Surica, celebrates her 85 years with a show at the Rival Petrobras Theatre, on November 22, next to guests who marked their trajectory in samba and attend the traditional Cafofo of Tia Surica.
A member of Portela's Old Guard since 1980, the artist prepares a repertoire that brings together songs from the three albums she released throughout her career, highlighting compositions of important school names. Among the expected sambas are “Lama” (Mauro Duarte), “I need to find myself” (Candeia), “What a place” (Argemiro) and “How many tears” (Manacéa).
