Between 4 and 7 July, Lapa hosts the annual Zé Pelintra Day Festival, with a free program that brings together faith, popular culture and tradition. During the four days, the public will be able to accompany processions, spins, courtships, samba wheels, musical performances and other celebrations in honor of one of the most popular entities of the religions of Afro-Brazilian matrix.
The feast celebrates the Day of Zé Pelintra, celebrated on July 7 in the municipality of Rio, and reinforces the appreciation of religious diversity and Afro-Brazilian culture.
