The comedian Afonso Padilha is back in Rio with his newest solo show, which is scheduled for August 2 and 3, in the City of Arts. Known for his sharp and humorous style, the artist has traveled the country with an unprecedented presentation that mixes everyday observations, intimate fears and absurdly funny situations.
In the show, Padilha addresses topics such as the "end of the world", the challenge of seeing friends taking on new responsibilities in adulthood, especially fatherhood, and their own experiences, always with a comic and personal look.
In addition to being a comedian, Afonso is also a writer, writer and, in his spare time, a payman. With his direct and spontaneous humor, he transforms existential insecurities and dilemmas into moments of pure laughter, keeping his trademark of connecting with the public through identification.
