Seu Vidal
The Seu Vidal has a relaxed atmosphere and is a tribute to the grandfather of Pedro Vidal, owner of the establishment.
One of the heirs of the famous Itajaí Confectionery, opened 84 years ago in the Center of Rio, decided to innovate by opening a sandwich shop. His Vidal has a relaxed atmosphere and is a tribute to the grandfather of Pedro Vidal, owner of the establishment. The ambience has a foodtruck parked at the entrance, where sandwiches are finished. Black walls with burned cement print rustic-urban airs into space. The vibrant counterpoint is the graphite that takes care of the main wall, executed by the artist Ana Luiza Vidal. For those who prefer an intimate climate, the house offers a lounge with lower lights and sofas instead of chairs.
On the menu, traditional sandwiches with selected ingredients. Among the options, mortadella with citrus mayonnaise; parma with brie and hot mayonnaise; and swine sausage with catupiry sauce. For dessert, the traditional bakery dream, in a new version, filled with Nutella is the one requested. A beer letter, signed by beer sommelier José Raimundo Padilha, composed exclusively of carioca labels, is also available in Seu Vidal.
