¡Venga! - Ipanema

The bar is at two addresses in Rio’s South Zone, one in Ipanema and one in Leblon. ¡Venga! serves small portions, but some are perfect to be shared. The menu has typical recipes like pulpo a la galega (octopus with potatoes and spicy paprika), revueltos de Bacalao (shredded cod with creamy scrambled eggs, potatoes, and spicy paprika), as well as preserves and croquettes. To wash it down, there are several options of sangrias, and an exclusive drink list put together by the awarded mixologist Jean Ponce, as well as wines and Spanish beers.

With an informal and exclusive decoration, the architectonic design of the two ¡Venga! buildings are signed by Maneco Quinderé. At the Ipanema house, there’s the “Venga a los fogones”, a room for events, celebrations, an exclusive degustations.

¡Venga! has won the Veja Rio award for Best Happy Hour, in 2010, for Best Tapas Bar, in 2013. And it has won three times the Prêmio Rio Show de Gastronomia award (by the O Globo newspaper), in 2013, 2014, and 2015.
