Mercedes Viegas, a museologist, founded his own gallery in 2000. The gallery develops a careful work of dissemination of Brazilian art, bringing together internationally renowned artists and investing in new talents.
Founded in 2000, Mercedes Viegas's contemporary art gallery develops a careful work to disseminate Brazilian art. The site brings together exhibitions of national and international artists always investing in new talents. The gallery holds a collective exhibition and six individuals per year. In addition to the exhibitions, the space annually promotes courses with curators, critics and historians about contemporary art.
