Over 100 years old, the popular market that began as an agricultural fair in 1914, and since the 1950s it has established itself as the main commercial hub of the North Zone, recently received the title of Cultural Heritage of the Carioca People. In the more than 580 stores it is possible to prospect from school supplies to toys, candy, feminine accessories, national and imported beverages, spices and herbs and aphrodisiac items.
