The best of Peruvian cuisine and Inca with carioca seasoning.
The first cevicheria of Rio de Janeiro opened its doors in November 2011 at the Jardim Botânico. Committed by the members Flávio Datz, Marcio Muller and Pedro Themudo, the house brings to the city Peruvian gastronomy adapted to the carioca lifestyle. In 2013, La Carioca inaugurated its second unit in Ipanema (Rua Garcia D'ávila, 173 Lj. A). Besides the famous ceviches, specialty of the house, La Carioca Cevicheria still offers other options of fish, hot dishes, special beers and sangrias. The space has Peruvian decoration, but does not leave aside the Rio climate of the city.
