In the middle of Joatinga road, linking São Conrado to Barra da Tijuca, it's Joatinga beach. The access is only by car. Upon arriving, you must go down a path between the rocks to reach the small beach; the elderly and children should take extra care. The sand is white, the sea allows both surfing as bathing. Perfect place to relax with family and for surfers catch good waves.
