Hop Lab Pub

One of the good bohemian options of Praça da Bandeira, in northern Rio, Hop Lab Pub has already guaranteed fame and awards to attract the public to the house. Of the 30 faucets, 17 are intended for fixed partners such as Bodebrown, Hocus Pocus, The Mutiny, 3Cariocas, Oceanic and Three Monkeys that always have their cups flowing from the taps of the bar. There is always one or more cup tasting rules (5 glasses of 100ml). The rules follow choices of the house sommeliers following some style, brewery or tasting sequence. Still in the liquor hall, other options are traditional drinks such as caipirinha, hi-fi and mojito, as well as sparkling wines and distillates.

The menu is not content to be just a supporter and makes beautiful. With entrees, sandwiches, main dishes and desserts, it impresses by the use of unusual ingredients. Among the entrees featured for the Mareco Coxinhas accompanied by mango sauce with basil, the slow-boiled radish pastel in the stout beer served with cress sauce and the shrimp Arancini that are risotto dumplings stuffed with shrimp and pumpkin. The most hungry can opt for the main dishes as the grilled salmon in butter served with creamy mashed cara, the Marreco with bratkartoffeln, a grilled machete accompanied by hot potato and bacon salad and the grilled Ribeye served with homemade ketchup and fries).
