Flamengo Museum
Once Flamengo, always Flamengo!
In August 2023, the Flamengo Museum, located at the club's headquarters at Gávea, reopened its doors with a renewed and even grander project. The space now occupies an area of 1,200 m2, with planned future expansion to 2,000 m2, consolidating itself as one of the largest and most modern museums dedicated to a football club in Brazil.
Throughout 14 thematic areas, the museum narrates the trajectory of the Flamengo, highlighting historical achievements, legendary protagonists and eternal idols. Among the highlights is the 1981 World Championship, which won an exclusive space that refers to Tokyo, the scenario of the epic victory over Liverpool. In addition, the museum celebrates much more than football: modalities such as basketball, known as "Nation Pride", Remo and Volleyball also have their space guaranteed, along with characters who marked the club's history in various sports disciplines.
With modern and interactive design, the Museum is a true time travel that connects fans of all generations to the roots and glories of the club. For fans and lovers of sport, space is an invitation to relive exciting moments and get even closer to the red-black soul.
