The Cultural Center emerged with a mission of some art collectives of Morro do Pinto: to recover the memory of a place so important for the culture of the country. It operates on the site where the former Zani Foundry was operating, from which works of art came out - between plaster molds, books, notes, sculptures - scattered throughout Brazil and several countries. Monuments were made there as the sculpture of the head of the Zombie, located in President Vargas.
