Barra Shopping
Founded in 1981, BarraShoppig became the biggest commercial and services polo of the country, integrating with New City center and the BarraShopping Businesse center.
Elected by the 5th consecutive time as the most favorite mall of the cariocas (research Marca dos Cariocas, from O Globo newspaper), Barra Shopping has a special relation with Rio de Janeiro. More than 700 stores at an area which runs 1.2 km, offering a complete mix of services, shop, leisure, convenience and restaurants. Barra shopping still integrates two of the Doctor centers of High standard, that add more than 50 specialized clinics. All the structure of the complex works with the contemporary architecture – exploring large corridors, natural illumination and landscaping, making their gardens and intern areas pleasant and inviting.
Opening hours - Food court and drug stores: Monday to sunday and holidays, 10am to 11pm. Post Office: Monday to friday, 10am to 8pm. Satuday, 10am to 5pm.
