On a centenary old mansion, the second-hand bookstore has rarities in its literature and music sections, and it even hosts Photograph and Visual Arts exhibitions. The establishment serves lunch from Monday to Saturday and Happy-Hour from Tuesday to Friday. Al-Farabi brings quality food together with fun, Bohemia and the best of literature. In the restaurant, dishes like “feijoada” (black beans stew with pork cuts) and “picadinho” (beef cubes in gravy) may be served alongside something special: the exotic flavors of imported beers that the house sells.
