Abelardo Bar and Restaurante

Under the command of Argentinean chef Emiliano Sabino, the restaurant Abelardo, located at the lobby of the Hilton Barra Rio de Janeiro, offers a delicious buffet during the morning, with options including seasonal recipes inspired by contemporary Mediterranean cusine, as well as Brazilian food. At evenings, the dishes are served à la carte, and visitors can choose from a recently reformulated menu. On the dining room, the Tétard Frères serving set, made in French silver vermeil. The set is made up of 246 pieces and has a design made in 1903 especially for sets that would be exported, and was used to serve banquet in Itamaraty between the decades of 1930 and 1940, following the request of the then chancellor Oswaldo Aranha.
